Hi Daniel — sometimes I edit in the web browser, sometimes on my desktop. For my desktop, I use vim, which you can set up to make it easier to edit prose or long lines. I don't really use any plugins for it, using things like / and f and ) are good enough for me. There is the vim-pencil plugin and guides like http://www.terminally-incoherent.com/blog/2013/06/17/using-vim-for-writing-prose/ which might be useful to you Cheers, Alex
